Paula McCartney: A Field Guide to Snow and Ice

After relocating from San Francisco to Minneapolis, McCartney made a decision to brave the elements to photograph her experience in new surroundings. Her self-proclaimed fascination with winter extends beyond the actual season and any defining physical substance. This project is a documentation of winter in many surprising geographic locations and unsuspecting material forms.
