“The pieces to be exhibited manifest Wenjun’s deep reflection and considerations towards our current world, history and future with a harmonious integration of strong Chinese traditional art taste and some aesthetic features. These works of Digital Pictorial Photography, an avant-garde style developed by Wenjun, are totally different from the usual photography works, which will probably surprise the visitors and give them a new way to look at photography art.”

The Handball Alley, Newpark, Blackrock, Dublin
opening on Friday 6 April, 2018
“This new exhibition of by multi award-winning photographer Kenneth O’Halloran shows him at the peak of his powers. It focuses on his colour work from Ireland, and centres on a large installation of his magisterial series ‘The Handball Alley’.
These now silent structures attest to the passing of time and to the changing dynamics of rural communities. Like the dolmens that John Montague offered as a metaphor for the old people of his childhood, these modern ruins are liminal structures, open-air theatres where the ghosts of a lost civilisation linger. ”

“The solo exhibition 4K ULTRA HD of the Swedish artist duo Inka and Niclas deals with our
consumption of landscapes through (camera-)lenses and screens. Our image of the
landscape is formed by photography and nature is constructed by the stream of images on
our screens. The photographic works and installations of the exhibition focus on the “4K
ULTRA HD” image search by the same name. 4K HD or 4K ULTRA are terms used in the
display industry to illustrate that their screens have a significantly higher level of detail
accuracy and sharpness.”
