“the kids are alright” features photography and video created by 38 established and emerging artists who explore the contemporary family. The museum exhibition’s theme is today’s family is a complicated entanglement of people, is often unconventional, but are filled with poignant and humorous moments.

Alison Ferris, from the John Michael Kohler Arts Center, Sheboygan, Wisconsin, curated and organized the show, where the show originated; it also traveled to the Weatherspoon Art Museum, Greensboro, N.C.
