“Long duration pinhole photographs or Solargraphs have been with us for a while. The original made by Dominique Stroobant in 1982. The emergence of digital scanning opened up several accessible techniques which, when combined with the indestructible and cheap, battery-free qualities of pinhole cameras, can uncover images impossible with digital technology.
A few years ago I began experimenting with moving cameras. I then worked alongside the sustainable wine importers, Porto Bristol, which has enabled previously unseen images of journeys and time.”
