“In this particular series, I celebrate the birds of the Corvidae family – our corvids, crows and ravens. The most intelligent and curious of birds, they are ingenious problem solvers, team players and learn by their mistakes. Known for their excellent memories, some can recognize themselves in a mirror, remember the locations of hidden seeds and distinguish human facial features. Their mythologies are intriguing – said to be speakers from the underworld, carriers of light, guardians of souls on journeys to other worlds.”
