Jenny Matthews: Sewing Conflict: Photography, War and Embroidery

Sewing Conflict: Photography, War and Embroidery, a new solo exhibition by documentary photographer and filmmaker Jenny Matthews. During lockdowns in 2020 and 2021 Jenny created a series of patchworks which incorporate her work over the past twenty years as a documentary photographer concerned with the effects of war on women’s lives globally. it will be colourful, visually stimulating, content rich and very pertinent to the current moment. Jenny will be at the reception on Saturday 10th February (3-5pm)
