8th annual Latin American Foto Festival
July 10 – August 3, 2025

Opening Reception: Thursday, July 10th, 6-9 PM

“This year’s citywide spaces will include Loisaida Center in Manhattan, Terraza 7 in Queens, Toñita’s Caribbean Social Club in Brooklyn, El Maestro Boxing Gym, Casa Amadeo, and Bronx Arts Space. As the Festival expands across other NYC boroughs, it seeks to elevate personal and collective narratives and to honor the cultural sites in NYC that have historically preserved and celebrated Latin American culture. In a city where development pressures continue to displace families as well as organizations that are community anchors, the Festival has become an important foundation for recognition, visibility, and memory.”

Artists featured include:

Coletivo FotoFlores | Brazil ● Tortugas al Viento | Mexico ● Bats’i Lab | Mexico ● Gabriela Oraa | Venezuela ● Federico Rios | Venezuela ● Charlie Cordero | Colombia ● Boris Mercado | Peru ● Carlos Barrera | El Salvador ● Jessica Orellana | El Salvador ● Carmen Mojica | Puerto Rico ● Mikey Cordero | Puerto Rico

Their work will be displayed at the BDC and throughout the South Bronx’s Melrose neighborhood from July 10th-20th and at other community spaces throughout NYC from July 24th – August 3rd.
