BDC Youth Photo League end-of-year exhibition

“This year’s Youth Photo League year-end exhibition features students work published in the 6th issue of BDC FOCUS, the program’s free newspaper. The projects reflect a range of reporting and documentary work rooted in the Bronx. One group investigated the rise of teen vaping in local schools, focusing on how marketing, flavored products, and easy access have contributed to growing addiction. Others explored personal and community stories—photographing autism in their families, housing insecurity, and the role of small businesses in daily life.
Students from Immaculate Conception School—closing this year after 175 years—produced a photo and interview series documenting their final months in the building.”
