Chang-Ching “Casper” Su: A Dream Cast in Dormancy (Even Shadows Glow in the Dark)

“Murmuration is pleased to present A Dream Cast in Dormancy (Even Shadows Glow in the Dark) by Chang-Ching “Casper” Su. This exhibition features photographs, videos, and light-based objects that document the spectral nocturnal landscapes of the sea between Taiwan and China. A research-based artist, Su has spent extensive time documenting this area, which is home to a large squid-fishing industry. At night, fishing boats use green LED lights to lure the squid to their nets, covering the nearby islands in light pollution.”
