Konstantine Korsovitis: A Life in Shadows
6 June until 11 June 2025
Opening: Friday 6 June, 21:00
“Although each nation in Southeast Asia possesses its own distinct culture, the countries of the region share many cultural, religious, linguistic, and ethnic characteristics. These commonalities are the result of complex relationships that have evolved over more than a thousand years. Shadow Theatre serves as a medium that expresses the power and fluidity of these connections, while reflecting both the past and the potential of the region.
The project “A Life in Shadows” focuses on the shadow theatre traditions of Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, and Cambodia, exploring their shared heritage and unique identities.”
