Founded in 1946, and recognized as a “European Center of Excellence for Robotic Vertebral Surgery”, Casa di Cura Sileno e Anna Rizzola is a private hospital located near Venice, in San Donà di Piave. In 2021 Italian photographer Renato D’Agostin was invited to create a photographic series about its facility and mission. In this exhibition and in the publication, a series of 20 photographs depicts the world of Rizzola through the photographer’s visual poetry and striking blacks and whites.
